Upcycle It! Susan’s Bag Bags

Grab Those Plastic Shopping Bags!

Hi, everyone! Not to take anything away from Litter Bit, but how often do you get the chance to upcycle plastic bags instead of recycle them?

Here’s what you need:

  • Plastic bags
  • Scissors
  • Crochet hook

They’re cute, durable, and every single one is completely unique. And that’s even before you add your own personal touches, like woven yarn art or yarn tassels!

While it isn’t a live-action tutorial, this video will give you an idea about making BAG BAGS:

Upcycle It! T-Shirt Headband

Get Out Those Old T-Shirts!

Here’s what you need:

    • 1 Old t-shirt
    • Hot glue gun
    • Sharp scissors
    • A ruler

Once you’ve made your headband, you can decorate it with fabric flowers (or use green felt to make a leaf like my headband!) You can even bedazzle it with rhinestones and sequins if you want something that sparkles.
